This black and white marble bathroom floor in Leatherhead, Surrey, had become dull, worn and marked through everyday use. The marble tiles had lost their original clarity and polished finish, with visible etching and surface wear that normal cleaning could not correct. We deep cleaned the marble and grout lines before using specialist diamond abrasives to hone and refine the damaged surface. Progressive diamond polishing then restored the clarity and reflection of the black and white marble, followed by final polishing and protection to help maintain the restored finish. The photographs show the floor before, during and after restoration, including the improvement achieved through professional honing and polishing.
