Floor Polishing Services
Limestone, Marble, Travertine & Terrazzo Floor Cleaning, Polishing & Restoration
Genuine restoration project · Ockham
This limestone floor restoration project was carried out at a property in Ockham, near Cobham and Oxshott in Surrey. The limestone tiles and grout lines were heavily soiled, while dirt trapped within the natural pits, veins and open areas of the stone made the kitchen, hallway and small cloakroom feel dark and dingy. We carried out an intensive deep clean of the limestone tiles and grout, including labour-intensive manual cleaning of the pits, veins and open-textured areas of the stone. Holes requiring attention were resin filled, and etch marks and spill-related staining were mechanically treated using specialist diamond honing techniques. The limestone was then diamond skimmed and progressively diamond polished to refine the surface and restore a clean, natural appearance. Once the restoration process was complete, a suitable stone sealer was applied to help protect the floor. The finished limestone transformed the kitchen, hallway and cloakroom, making the property feel considerably brighter, warmer and more welcoming. The customer was very impressed with the result. Floor Polishing Services provides professional limestone floor cleaning, repairs, diamond honing, polishing and sealing throughout Ockham, Cobham, Oxshott and surrounding areas of Surrey.
