Limestone Floor Restoration in Cobham, Surrey

This limestone floor restoration project was carried out at a property in Cobham, near Weybridge and Esher in Surrey. The floor had become dull and the grout lines were dirty. The client had also tried cleaning some of the grout with household bleach, which had etched the limestone around the edges of the affected tiles.

Fortunately, the client noticed the problem before treating all of the grout. We began by mechanically honing the etched areas around the tiles, before diamond honing the wider floor to address the surface damage and prepare the limestone for restoration.

The grout lines were then deep cleaned, followed by diamond skimming and progressive diamond polishing of the limestone. A suitable stone sealer was applied on completion to help protect the restored floor. The work covered the kitchen, utility room, lounge, entrance hall and toilet.

Two technicians completed the project over two days. The restored limestone now has an attractive natural shine and has considerably lifted the appearance of the ground floor. Floor Polishing Services provides professional limestone floor cleaning, diamond honing, polishing and sealing throughout Cobham, Weybridge, Esher and surrounding areas of Surrey.
