This beautiful marble floor in Hove, East Sussex, had become dull and lost much of its original shine. There were also several etch marks around the kitchen area that were affecting the overall appearance of the stone. As the marble floor was very flat and suitable for honing, we were able to restore the entire surface to achieve a smooth and consistent finish. **Deep Cleaning & Diamond Honing** We began by thoroughly deep cleaning the marble tiles and grout lines to remove ingrained dirt and residues. The entire floor was then diamond honed using specialist diamond abrasives, allowing us to remove the etch marks around the kitchen and refine the surface ready for polishing. **Diamond Polishing for the Wow-Factor Shine** Once the honing stages were complete, we progressively diamond polished the marble using increasingly finer grades of specialist diamond abrasives. The floor was then powder polished to achieve the deep, high-gloss finish we were looking for – giving the marble that real wow-factor shine. The finished floor looked fantastic and beautifully complemented the bespoke kitchen units, completely transforming the overall appearance of the room. This turned out to be a larger restoration project than originally anticipated, requiring a little more work to achieve the finish we wanted. Our two-man team stayed later to ensure everything was completed properly within the day.
