This marble kitchen floor in Hampshire had become very dull and tired-looking, with scratches, scuff marks and general wear affecting its original polished finish.
There were also numerous etch marks and stains caused by food and drink spills, which had left the marble looking patchy and lifeless. The client wanted the floor professionally restored to bring back its original shine and transform the appearance of the kitchen.
**Removing Scratches, Etch Marks & Stains**
We began the marble restoration process using specialist diamond honing discs to remove the etch marks, food and drink stains, scratches and surface imperfections.
Diamond honing allowed us to refine the actual surface of the marble, creating a smooth and consistent finish ready for polishing.
****Diamond Polishing the Marble Floor****
Once the damaged areas had been addressed, we progressively diamond polished the marble using increasingly finer grades of specialist diamond abrasives.
The floor was then powder polished to produce a beautiful high-gloss finish, restoring the natural clarity, colour and reflection of the marble.
The transformation really changed the appearance of the entire kitchen. What had previously been a dull, scratched and tired-looking floor was restored to a bright, fresh and beautifully polished finish.
The customer was delighted with the transformation and the difference the restored marble made to the kitchen.
