Genuine restoration project · Brighton & Hove
This wood floor in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, needed refreshing after building and finishing trades had completed their work. The floor had become marked with scuffs, dirt and building residue, leaving it looking tired and taking away from the overall finish of the newly completed property.
Wood Floor Cleaning & Preparation
We thoroughly cleaned the wood flooring, removing scuff marks, dirt and remaining building materials from the surface. Care was taken to prepare the floor properly without unnecessarily sanding or refinishing the wood.
**Burnishing & Waxing the Wood Floor**
Once clean, we burnished the wood floor to improve its appearance and bring back its natural character. A light wax was then applied to protect the surface and create an attractive satin finish rather than an overly glossy appearance.
The difference was impressive. Cleaning and polishing the flooring helped transform the whole property, giving the wood a fresh, well-maintained finish and adding the final wow factor after the building work had been completed.
Three-Day Wood Floor Maintenance Project
The project took one technician three days and included wood flooring throughout the property, including the entire ground floor, first-floor entrance area, dining room, lounge, bedroom and second-floor landing.
The developer was extremely happy with the finished result and the overall improvement achieved through professional wood floor maintenance.
