We began by diamond honing the marble floor, sink and bath surround using specialist diamond abrasives.
The honing process allowed us to remove the etch marks and surface damage while flattening and refining the marble ready for the polishing stages.
Working on marble sinks and bath surrounds requires additional care, particularly in confined bathrooms where access to edges, corners and fittings can be difficult.
**Diamond & Powder Polishing**
Once the marble had been properly honed, we progressively diamond polished the floor, bath surround and sink using increasingly finer grades of diamond abrasives.
The marble was then powder polished to produce a beautiful high-gloss finish, restoring the natural clarity, colour and character of the stone.
Finally, all the restored marble surfaces were professionally sealed to help protect against staining and everyday bathroom use.
The transformation completely changed the appearance of this small bathroom, taking the marble from tired, dull and dirty to a fresh, clean and beautifully polished finish.
The client was extremely excited and delighted to see the final transformation.
